YouTube has ten scenes from “Les Choristes”, so we will do a scene every day for the next ten days…starting tomorrow.

The premise of the movie is as follows:

In 1949, Clément Mathieu, a Music Professor without a job, accepts a supervisor position in a boarding school for the rehabilitation of minors: “the bottom of the pond”. The repressive system is applied by the Director, Rachin, which upsets Mathieu. He realizes that the children have a greater need for understanding and freedom and he manages to get the permission from the Director to form a choir with the students in his class. By introducing these difficult children to music (with its own written compositions) and choral vocals, Mathieu will be able to transform their daily lives, and win their trust.
