Study Tip – Duolingo can be very confusing when it comes to verb tenses. You can divide verb tenses into past, present, future or simple vs. compound or perfect vs imperfect. All of it can be confusing, especially when a teacher decides to only refer to the tense or mood in its French name. The picture below will help you understand the difference between simple and compound.
